About this talk

An open and guided conversation about how we, as freelance business owners, are designing diversity and inclusiveness into our network, clientele and services we offer.

We define D&I this way ... diversity is about the PEOPLE...their similarities and differences, along with the life experiences they bring as a result of their diversity.

Inclusion is about the ORGANIZATION ... its processes and polices that impact the people.

Mikala Lark, our moderator will be asking the panel questions on which to weigh as is most appropriate. The goal is to create a guided conversation so that the discussion aligns with the definition of D&I as outlined above.

Your voice matters here too, both in questions and input to the conversation.

He is also a professor in the Health Outcomes and Behavior Program at Moffitt and has been working in the field of diversity and health disparities for over 20 years. Under Dr. Green’s leadership, in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Moffitt was ranked (#6, #4, #4 and #3 respectively) among DiversityInc’s Top 10 Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations for fostering diversity and inclusion, based upon a rigorous, data-driven survey gauging detailed demographics based on race/ethnicity and gender at some of the largest U.S. employers. Moffitt was the only Florida hospital, the only non-system hospital and the only free-standing cancer center to make the list.
